Abstrakt: Aberrant epigenetic methylation is linked to the onset and progression of cancer. In this issue of Chemistry & Biology, Furst and Barton (2015) describe a sensitive electrochemical assay that can detect hyperactive epigenetic methylation in tumor tissue.
