| Abstrakt: | We report a rare case of a 22 year old G2P1+0 at 35 weeks gestation in whom clinical rabies developed seven weeks after a bite from a rabid dog. Treatment was palliative with emergency caesarean delivery of a live male baby. She died 8 hours after delivery. The baby was not given the rabies vaccine and was well until he was lost to follow up 5 months later. |
