Babies and preschoolers with impaired psychic and speech development underwent psychological and psychophysiological examinations. The purpose was to detect comparative peculiarities of psychic processes of the higher nervous activity and to evaluate objectively the cognitive and thought processes in children with different levels of intellectual development. The results can be used in the differential diagnosis of impairments of the psychic and intellectual development as well as in the detection of individual specific features of a child while defining a scope of medical, psychological and pedagogical aid. |
