Abstrakt: A single intravenous injection of solubilized alpha-tocopherol acetate to Wistar male rats in doses of 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg noticeably increased the animals' working capacity. The stimulation effect appeared 18 hours after the injection and was observable for two weeks. Utilization of glucose reserves in bioenergy supply of muscle activity has been shown. The maintenance of the action for such a long time may be accounted for by high metabolic stability of solubilized alpha-tocopherol acetate.
