The features of the blood flow in the vertebral artery were studied by ultrasonic dopplerography with functional test for reactive hyperemia in 52 patients. The authors claim this to be an objective screening method allowing the sequelae of occlusion of the vertebrosubclavian segment to be studied and providing information for establishing the diagnosis and appraising the efficacy of reconstructive operations. |
