| Abstrakt: | A series of aryl bicyclic analogs of succinimide and glutarimide was prepared and evaluated for CNS depressant activity. The 8a-aryl-3,4,6,7,8,8a-hexahydro-2H-pyrrolo[2,1-beta][1,3]oxazin-6-ones possessed the best overall spectrum of activity relative to the standard agents glutethimide and phenobarbital. |
