A case report of hyperkeratosis lenticularis perstans (Flegel) is presented. The disease is characterized clinically, histologically and with electron microscope. The evolution of the disease since Flegel described it 40 years ago is considered, with emphasis on etiology, pathogenesis and unanswered questions. |
