Abstrakt: Abstract: The study submitted tries through the Ostrava company Adda Paris, s. r. o. to present and specify the issue of the development of doing business in the 1990 s and aided by an analysis of the period sources show the advantages and pitfalls of this transfomational period. It shows the way of doing business of the selected firm from its foundation and first contacts with foreign forms through establishment on the fashion market and subsequent closure of the company. A component of the study is also the characteristics of the eveeryday activities of the management of the company at the time when modern economic and communication insturments were just being shpaed.
