D'Agostini & Sons Inc. for allegedly conspiring with former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick of Detroit, Michigan in the construction of a sinkhole in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Mark McAlpine, lead attorney of D'Agostini, says that D'Agostini and its co-owners only contacted once with anyone connected to Kilpatrick. Moreover, D'Agostini was accused of collecting almost 16.4 million dollars and agreed with the Kilpatrick defendants to inflate invoices.
