Abstrakt: The article deals with confusion surrounding self-defense state laws in the U.S. The author cites the case of Norman Borden who was charged for the murder of two men for self-defense. The case created a confusion surrounding the stand-your-ground laws adopted by fourteen states. The new laws have made an automatic presumption that a person is justified to use deadly force against an attacker in any public place.
