The article reports on the redevelopment effort of the City Park in New Orleans Louisiana. With a staff of 30 from 240, City Park director and CEO Bob Becker and the director of Celebration in the Oaks, the parks signature annual celebration of the holiday season, Julie LaCour are on the move to bring back the life of the 150 years old park. According to Julie LaCour, the celebration in the previous year had drawn more than 50,000 visitors at a time of extreme uncertainty in New Orleans. |
