The article discusses the advantages of using an electric-drive component in a hybrid vehicle. The emergence of hybrid electric technology aims to provide consumers with vehicles that are energy efficient and less polluting. Most automobile manufacturers are committed to develop fuel cell-powered vehicles with the use of electric drive and battery storage leading to the integration of solar photovoltaic systems as energy source for the cars. The capacity of solar energy to meet the transportation needs relies on future vehicle designs. |
