In this work we introduced new types of -light functions namely -light functions, also we introduced -disconnected, and -totally disconnected spaces. Some examples, facts, and theorems have been given to support our work.

In this paper, we prove that, under Bandt's finite type condition, a self-similar set is totally disconnected if and only if the \(E\)-connected families on every level are uniformly finite.
