The Origins of Pomerania’s Choronyms in the Light of Linguistic Material

This article presents an analysis of linguistic data concerning the origins of Pomerania’s choronyms and revisits two conflicting hypotheses. One of them assumes endonymy, the other a borrowing from (Old) Polish-speaking neighbours from the south.
