Winter canola is primarily grown for seed production in the inland Pacific Northwest. However, early seeded winter canola may also be utilized as a forage or silage crop. The effect of grazing and swathing on seed yield is dependent on the time of pl

Field violet is a winter or summer annual plant that is a serious weed of canola crops in Europe. It is a weed of increasing concern within reduced tillage fields in central Alberta, where its response to registered herbicides has not been evaluated.
This study evaluates profitability and risk associated with eighteen different management decisions for canola production in Alberta. Expected payoff from cultivar selection outweighs the payoff from time of seeding and from time of weed control. Exp
