Posterior urethral valves were treated in 9 children by rupture with a Foley catheter. The interest and advantages of this simple method are underlined especially in newborns where the infant resectoscope can be traumatic and difficult to use.

The authors present an alternative procedure for the treatment of an external fistula of the main parotid duct. Implantation of the orifice of the duct with a flocculus of the skin into the oral cavity was performed with a good result.
