Turkesterone is a phytoecdysteroid possessing an 11alpha-hydroxyl group. It is an analogue of the insect steroid hormone 20-hydroxyecdysone. Previous ecdysteroid QSAR and molecular modelling studies predicted that the cavity of the ligand-binding dom

Roots of Tragacantha stipulosa Boriss yielded three triterpene glycosides of the cycloartane series: askendoside G (1), askendoside D (2), and cycloglobiceposide B (3). Glycoside 1 is 3-O-α-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-xylopyranoside; 16-O-β-D-g

The distribution of phytoecdysteroids in plants of the families Labiatae, Compositae, and Caryophyllaceae growing in Uzbekistan has been analyzed. It has been shown that some of them possess a capacity for lowering the levels of urea and residual nit
