The non-Hermitian skin effect has been discovered in a one dimensional open chain. Here, the authors establish the universality of this effect in two and higher dimensional non-Hermitian systems and propose two new types of skin effect.

Non-Hermitian skin effect and critical skin effect are unique features of non-Hermitian systems. In this work, we explore novel phenomena associated with the Z_{2} skin effect and critical skin effect in open quantum systems. For the open system with

The anomalous non-Hermitian dynamical phenomenon with the non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE) attracts wide attention due to its novel physics and promising applications. Here, we propose a new type of non-unitary discrete-time quantum walk system demon

Non-Hermitian skin effect, which refers to the phenomenon that an extensive number of eigenstates are localized at the boundary, has been widely studied in lattice models and experimentally observed in several classical systems. In this work, we pred

We study the intrinsic superconductivity in a dissipative Floquet electronic system in the presence of attractive interactions. Based on the functional Keldysh theory beyond the mean-field treatment, we find that the system shows a time-periodic boso

The authors demonstrate the existence of helical damping and dynamical critical skin effect in quantum open systems and show that the change of generalized Brillouin zone equation is the origin of critical skin effect.

The fermion doubling theorem plays a pivotal role in Hermitian topological materials. It states, for example, that Weyl points must come in pairs in three-dimensional semimetals. Here, we present an extension of the doubling theorem to non-Hermitian
