Barium stars are peculiar stars with enhanced slow neutron capture process ( s -process) elements. Abundance analysis of them aids in better understanding the chemical evolution of the Milky Way. In this paper, we introduce a data-driven method named

This paper presents a robust neural network approach for identifying hot subdwarfs. Our method leveraged the Squeeze-and-Excitation Residual Network to extract abstract features, which were combined with experience features to create hybrid features.

Low-surface-brightness (LSB) galaxies play a crucial role in our understanding of galaxy evolution and dark matter cosmology. However, efficiently detecting them in large-scale surveys is challenging, due to their dim appearance. In this study, we pr

Numerous spectra can be obtained from sky surveys such as the Sloan Digital Sky Survey and the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fibre Spectroscopic Telescope. However, a considerable fraction of such spectra, which are also valuable for astronomical resea

Rare objects such as white dwarf+main sequence (WDMS) and cataclysmic variables (CVs) are very important for studying the evolution of the galaxy and the universe. The large amount of spectra obtained by the large sky surveys such as the Sloan Digita

Low-surface-brightness galaxies (LSBGs), fainter members of the galaxy population, are thought to be numerous. However, due to their low surface brightness, the search for a wide-area sample of LSBGs is difficult, which in turn limits our ability to

Red giants play a crucial role in astronomical exploration. However, the current search for these stars heavily relies on spectrum analysis, making it a cumbersome process. In this paper, we propose a novel red giant search approach called CBAMResNet

Flux is one of the most fundamental parameters in astrophysics, and aperture photometry and point-spread function (PSF) photometry are commonly used methods to obtain the flux. With the continuous development of astronomical equipment that has genera

Stellar atmospheric parameters (effective temperature, surface gravity, and metallicity) are fundamental for understanding the formation and evolution of stars and galaxies. Photometric data can provide a low-cost way to estimate these parameters, bu

A small fraction of giants possess photospheric lithium (Li) abundance higher than the value predicted by the standard stellar evolution models, and the detailed mechanisms of Li enhancement are complicated and lack a definite conclusion. In order to
