The present study established the efficient separate synthesis of four unique 1, 2, 3-triazole derivatives (M1, M2, M3, M4) via conducting 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of N-((4-azidophenyl) sulfonyl) acetamide, with substituted N-phenylmaleimide. FTIR,

The cyclisation of N-allyl- and N-homoallylguanidines using DMDO leading to the formation of novel 5- and 6-membered guanidine heterocycles is reported. Several of the products formed displayed weak inhibition of glycosidase enzymes.

The cyclisation of mono-protected and bis-protected guanidines 8a–j under standard iodocyclisation conditions (I2/K2CO3) gave the guanidine heterocycles 9–25 via either a direct cyclisation or by a cyclisation/ring-contraction process, which coul

Synthetic analogues of marine sponge guanidine alkaloids showed in vitro antiparasitic activity against Leishmania (L.) infantum and Trypanosoma cruzi. Guanidines 10 and 11 presented the highest selectivity index when tested against Leishmania. The a
