The condensation of 4-benzyl-4H-thieno[3,2-b]pyrrole-5-carbohydrazide with aromatic and heteroaromatic aldehydes afforded the corresponding N′-arylmethylidene and N′-hetarylmethylidene hydrazides with high yields.
