A 22-year-old man presented to clinic with a 1 year history of bloody diarrhoea and weight loss. Flexible sigmoidoscopy showed the presence of a low polypoidal rectal carcinoma. Whilst awaiting neoadjuvant chemo-radiotherapy, the patient presented to
