A three-dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes solver, KFLOW, using overlapped grids has recently been developed to simulate unsteady flow phenomena over helicopter rotor blades. The blade-vortex interaction is predicted for a descending flight using

A 3-D compressible Navier-Stokes solver using overlapped grids is developed to predict a flow-field around a hovering rotor. The flow solver is verified by a parametric study with the grid spacing of wake grid, spatial accuracy and turbulence model.

A steady prediction method is presented to compute dynamic damping coefficients for axisymmetric projectiles. Viscous flow analysis is essential to the steady method using a zero-spin coning motion in the inertial coordinate frame. The present method

A technique for the generation of overlapped grid using a simple shooting method, that is a cut-paste algorithm, is presented. It makes possible to generate overlapping grids with moderate mesh interface region. To generate overlapped grids with mini
