The dependence of the abrasive-wear resistance of an epoxy–sandy composite on sand content was studied. It was shown that abrasive-wear resistance of such composite is directly dependent on sand content and the maximum value is exceeded at 70 pts.

It is shown that when performing work on the restoration of parts operating in abrasive environment, the formulation containing 60-70 pts. wt. of natural sand and 30-40 pts. wt. of epoxy adhesive is the most effective in terms of adhesion strength.
