The intramolecular hydrogen bond in steroid 5‐hydroxy‐6‐ketones and 5‐hydroxy‐6‐ketoximes of the stigmastane series has been investigated by the method of IR spectroscopy. It is shown that 5β‐hydroxy groups in cis‐A/B‐steroids are
