Eu 2+ -doped SrAl 2− x Si 2+ x O 8− x N x oxynitride with feldspar structure was prepared using solid state reaction ( x = 0–1.0). The phase present, lattice parameter and luminescence properties of the as-prepared phosphors were investigated.
