6-Hydroxydehydroabietinol and hinokiol were isolated from the non-steam-volatile fraction of the leaves of Torreya nucifera Sieb, et Zucc. (Taxaceae) (Japanese name “Kaya”). The former was also isolated from the immature fruits of the same plant.
