The effects of H 2 reduction on the physical and catalytic properties of one type of hydrogen molybdenum bronze, H 1.55 MoO 3 , were studied. H 2 reduction enlarged the surface areas of H 1.55 MoO 3 and Pt/MoO 3 , but not the surface area of MoO 3 .
