A taxonomic study of a Gram-stain-positive, rod-shaped, non-motile, non-spore-forming, catalase-negative bacterium, strain YK43T, isolated from spent mushroom substrates stored in Nagano, Japan was performed. Growth was detected at 15–45 °C, pH 5.
