Evaporation duct is a kind of chaotic phenomenon over the ocean. In this paper, a new nonlinear prediction algorithm, the Darwinian evolutionary algorithm (DEA), is introduced to obtain the specific nonlinear formula P(·) of the chaotic phenomenon.
