SuperKEKB is a very high luminosity e^{+}e^{−} collider consisting of a low energy ring (LER) of positrons of 4 GeV and a high energy ring (HER) of electrons of 7 GeV. The high luminosity will be achieved thanks to the nanobeam scheme, where very s

During 2008 and 2009 dedicated beam experiments with crab cavities were performed in the KEKB. The goal was to measure the impact of crab-cavity radio frequency (rf) noise on the beam quality. These experiments were performed as a validation of the c

Microwave instability in the low energy ring of KEKB was studied using a broadband impedance model. The model gave excellent descriptions of longitudinal dynamics for both positive and negative momentum compactions. Moreover, it predicted that the th

An orbit feedback system around the interaction point (IP) has been developed and successfully employed at KEKB for more than 6 years. The purpose of the system is to maintain an optimum geometrical relationship of orbits of two beams at the IP and t

A series of measurements were carried out to investigate the dynamic beam-beam effects at KEKB. The beam-beam kick and the coherent beam-beam tune shift were measured by comparing the beam parameters between a colliding bunch and a noncolliding one.
