A novel adsorbent, ethylenediaminetetraacetic dianhydride (EDTAD)-modified magnetic chitosan (EMC) complex, was fabricated using glutaraldehyde as a cross-link agent. The obtained EMC was characterized by SEM, XRD, potentiometric titration, and FTIR.
