Four non-fused-ring electron acceptors with modified end groups, namely FC8-0F, FC8-1F, FC8-2F and FC8-2Cl, were designed and synthesized. Among them, the FC8-2Cl-based OSC exhibits a remarkable PCE of 13.28% with low energy loss.
