Rheumatologists are increasingly utilizing ultrasound for suspected giant cell arteritis (GCA) or Takayasu arteritis (TAK). This enables direct confirmation of a suspected diagnosis within the examination room without further referrals. Rheumatologis

The inverse problem associated to the Erd\H{o}s-Ginzburg-Ziv constant and the $\eta$-constant is solved for finite abelian groups of the form $C_2 \oplus C_2 \oplus C_{2n}$ where $n \ge 2$ is an integer.

Abstract Background Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is primarily treated with glucocorticoids (GCs), which have substantial toxicity. Tocilizumab, an interleukin-6-receptor inhibitor (IL-6Ri), showed beneficial effects in GCA, leading to its approval. Thi

We determine the exact value of the $\eta$-constant and the multiwise Davenport constants for finite abelian groups of rank three having the form $G \simeq C_2 \oplus C_{n_2} \oplus C_{n_3}$ with $2 \mid n_2 \mid n_3$. Moreover, we determine the Erd\

A characterization of Krull monoids for which sets of lengths are (almost) arithmetical progressions

Let H be a Krull monoid with finite class group G and suppose that every class contains a prime divisor. Then sets of lengths in H have a well-defined structure which just depends on the class group G. With methods from additive combinatorics we esta

For a finite abelian group [Formula: see text], the Harborth constant is defined as the smallest integer [Formula: see text] such that each squarefree sequence over [Formula: see text] of length [Formula: see text] has a subsequence of length equal t
