We present observations of 125 asteroids taken by traditional photoelectric photometry as well as with CCD imaging systems, from 1985 to the end of 1993, just 2 months before the untimely death of the first author. From these observations, we derive

Photometric observations of 1620 Geographos in 1993 and 1994 are presented and, in combination with previously published data, are used to derive models of Geographos. We estimate that the sidereal period of rotation is 0.21763860 ± 0.00000003 days

The Apollo asteroid 4179 Toutatis passed within 0.0242 AU of Earth in December 1992, and photometry was obtained by observers from at least 25 sites around the world, at solar phase angles between 121° and 0.2°. The phase curve is well described in

Groundbased photometric observations of asteroid 243 Ida over seven apparitions from 1980 to 1993 allow us to derive a model for its spin vector and shape prior to the August 1993 encounter by the Galileo spacecraft. Two equally likely solutions for

Photometric observational results are reported of a wide international campaign carried out for the asteroid 951 Gaspra. This S-type asteroid was the first flyby target of the Galileo spacecraft. The solar phase angle dependence of the light curve am

An effort is made to derive from Galileo's 1991 encounter of the S-type asteroid 951 Gaspra general lessons that will be applicable to prospective earth-based observations of other asteroids. Attention is accordingly given to the derivation of spin-v

Photometric observations of 10 small asteroids (10 km or less in diameter), obtained using the 1.5-m Mt. Lemmon and 2.3-m Kitt Peak telescopes of the University of Arizona during 1986-1987, are reported. The instrumentation and data-reduction techniq

Two lightcurves have been obtained of the periodic comet Tempel 2 during May and June 1988, using a CCD camera, as well as five photoelastic photometer lightcurves. On each observational occasion, two uneven maxima were observed which suggest that th

The rotational poles, triaxial ellipsoid shapes, absolute magnitudes, and phase functions of two Amor asteroids have been calculated from lightcurves obtained in a single apparition. The lightcurves of 1580 Betulia were obtained in 1976, and the pres

Amor asteroid 1992 NA was monitored during three nights at a large phase angle of -65 deg. The lightcurves obtained did not reveal a repeatable curve with two maxima and two minima. However, some features suggested a periodicity with three maxima and
