Purpose: Describe the dosimetry of an episcleral brachytherapy device. Methods: The SMD‐I device is designed to treat exudative age‐related macular degeneration (AMD) and employs a Sr‐90/Y‐90 source encapsulated in a stainless steel cylinder.
