The complexes MX(CO)L 2 (M = Ir and Rh) with L = PPh 3 and P(OPh) 3 exchange their ligands with L′ = P(C 6 H 11 ) 3 and PPh 3 at t 20°. With L = P(C 6 H 11 ) 3 there is no exchange with respect to the Ir complex but there is with the Rh complex. T

There is no isomerazation of 1-heptene dissolved in toluene by RhX(CO)L2 under nitrogen at 90°, however, under the conditions of hydrogenation at 70°. Hydrogenation and isomerization of 1-heptene depend on the ligands X and L in RhX(CO)L2.
