Electron lifetimes in a high- ${T}_{c}$ cuprate ${\mathrm{Bi}}_{2}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{2}{\mathrm{CaCu}}_{2}{\mathrm{O}}_{8+\ensuremath{\delta}}$ are measured directly in time domain by the interferometric two-photon time-resolved photoemission technique.
