Experimental data showed that the sea-level intensity of negative nonelectronic 0.37- to 1.67-Bev/c particles absorbed in 147 g/sq cm of Pb is less than 1.0 x 0.001 particles/sq cm-steradian-hr. This suggested an upper limit of 2.5 x 0.001 particles/
