The formation of endo-6-ethynylbicyclo[3.1.0]hex-2-ene (V) by gas-phase photolysis of a carbon suboxide/bicyclo[2.2.1]hepta-2,5-diene mixture is described and possible reaction mechanisms are discussed.

A MINDO/3 exploration of some (CH)2+8 structures
