Abstract Although the risk of cancer progression in a Barrett’s esophagus (BE) is very low, worrying about cancer is known as an important factor affecting HRQoL. The aim of this study was to determine the proportion of BE patients with high levels

Although endoscopic recognition of dysplasia in Barrett's esophagus is difficult, experience in recognition of early neoplastic lesions is supposed to increase the detection of early neoplastic lesions. The aim of this study was to assess the signifi

SUMMARYVolumetric laser endomicroscopy (VLE) is a balloon-based technique, which provides a circumferential near-microscopic scan of the esophageal wall layers, and has potential to improve Barrett's neoplasia detection. Interpretation of VLE imagery
