With recent advancements in communication networks, congestion control remains a research focus. Active Queue Management (AQM) schemes are normally used to manage congestion in routers. Random Early Detection (RED) is the most popular AQM scheme. How

The numerical simulation of the signal to interference ratio distribution in the wireless D2D communication is analyzed using means of kinetic equation. We consider the model of transmitters and receivers motion, which is mechanically determined, but

In device-to-device communications, the link quality indicators, such as signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) is heavily affected by mobility of users. Conventionally, the mobility model is assumed to be stationary. In this paper, we use kinetic theory

We consider the M(t)/M(t)/S queue with catastrophes. The bounds of the rate of convergence to the limit regime and the estimates of the limit probabilities are obtained. We also study the bounds for the mean of the queue and consider an example.
