A solid-state modulator rated for 50 kV, 120A, 4µs and 250 Hz has been designed. The discharging circuit of the modulator is being tested at ~ 33 kV, 40-80A, at a maximum pulse repetition rate of 30 pps. The paper discusses development and testing o
