In glioblastoma (GBM), tumor-associated macrophages (TAM) represent up to one half of the cells of the tumor mass, including both infiltrating macrophages and resident brain microglia. In an effort to delineate the temporal and spatial dynamics of TA

PIK3CA is one of the two most frequently mutated genes in breast cancers, occurring in 30–40% of cases. Four frequent ‘hotspot’ PIK3CA mutations (E542K, E545K, H1047R and H1047L) account for 80–90% of all PIK3CA mutations in human malignancie

PTEN is a phosphatase which metabolises PIP3, the lipid product of PI 3-Kinase, directly opposing the activation of the oncogenic PI3K/AKT/mTOR signalling network. Accordingly, loss of function of the PTEN tumour suppressor is one of the most common
