Background: The Laboratory Risk Indicator for Necrotizing Fasciitis (LRINEC) has been proposed as a diagnostic tool for necrotizing soft tissue infection (NSTI). However, its utility remains underreported, particularly in patients with comorbid condi

Solenoid Siberian snakes have successfully maintained polarization in particle rings below 1 GeV, but never in multi-GeV rings, because the spin rotation by a solenoid is inversely proportional to the beam momentum. High energy rings, such as Brookha

The classic clinical features of paroxysmal pertussis are often absent in older children and adults and after vaccination. The California pertussis epidemic of 2010 occurred in a highly vaccinated population. All pediatric patients (0-18 years) with p

Objective: To evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of two lots of a heptavalent Streptococcus pneumoniae conjugate vaccine (PCV) containing seven capsular polysaccharide serotypes (4, 6B, 9V, 14, 18C, 19F, and 23F) conjugated to the outer membrane

We have demonstrated for the first time spin flipping of a polarized proton beam stored in a ring containing a nearly $100%$ Siberian snake; we did this using a ``snake'' depolarizing resonance induced by an rf solenoid magnet. By varying the rf sole
