The trinuclear osmium complex [Os3(CO)8(η5-7-NMe3-7-CB10H10] (1) has been synthesized by heating [Os3(CO)12] with nido-7-NMe3-7-CB10H12 in bromobenzene. The structure has been established by X-ray diffraction.
