We study ππ correlations in the exclusive reactions p p → 2π + 2π − and p p → 2π + 2π − π 0 at rest with complete reconstruction of the kinematics for each event. A new analysis technique has been developed which is model independent.

A coupled channel model is used to study the nature of the \(f_0(980)\) resonance. It is shown that the existence of two poles close to \(K\bar{K}\) threshold, as found in many data fits and confirmed here, can be reconciled with the \(K\bar{K}\) mol

We study ππ correlations in the exclusive reaction pp → 2π+2π− at rest measured by the CPLEAR experiment. Avoiding the introduction of an arbitrary reference sample, we analyse differential distributions for equal charge pion pairs removing t

Final state interactions in the $S$-wave $\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi}$ system $(I=0,2)$ are reexamined on the basis of the Omn\`es-Muskhelishvili equation and the coupled channel formalism. The contributions to the pion scalar form factor from $

The deexcitation of [mu][ital p] and [mu][ital d] atoms has been simulated within a kinetics model, taking the energy dependence of cascade processes into account. The x-ray yields and the kinetic-energy distributions for the ground and excited state
We study pi0pi0 correlations in the exclusive reaction ppbar -> 4pi0 at rest with complete reconstruction of the kinematics for each event. The inclusive distribution shows a dip at small invariant mass of the pion pair while a small enhancement in t

A coupled channel model is used to study the nature of the scalar mesons produced in the decay phi - gamma pi pi. The KKbar molecular picture of f0(980) is found to be in a good agreement with the recent experimental data from SND and CMD-2. The stru
