The effect of current density, substrate material. and method of treating on the internal stresses in electrodeposited iron-nickel films

Measurements of the internal tensile stresses in electro deposited ironnickel films are reported. It is shown that the current density, the substrate material, and the method of treating it considerably affect the magnitude of the internal stresses.
