The limiting deformation in rotary drawing of anisotropic pipe blanks with wall thinning is studied theoretically. The maximum tensile stress at exit from the plastic deformation region is determined.

The production of axisymmetric shells by rotary drawing on conical rollers is proposed, with distribution of the deformation zone over three rollers. This technology reduces the radial deforming forces by 25–30%.
