Bolometers for balloon and space missions have seen extensive development because of their capacity to test primordial conditions of the Universe. The major improvements consist in lowering the operating temperature to reach higher sensitivities. Her

Spectral characteristics of THz generation in a parallel array of inductively coupled Josephson junctions with intermediate-to-large damping in the presence of thermal noise have been studied numerically. The influence of the number of junctions and

The quasioptical qualification of cold-electron bolometers (CEB) operated in the cross-slot antenna at 350GHz, are presented. The photon noise observation by a parallel/series array of CEBs is demonstrated for power loads of the order of 1 pW. The ex

We have realized an ultimate photon-noise-limited array of cold-electron bolometers (CEBs) for OLIMPO Balloon Telescope. The CEB array demonstrates very effective electron self-cooling of the absorber from 310 mK to 100 mK without optical power load,

We have measured a response to a black body radiation and noise of the cold-electron bolometers. The experimental results have been fitted by theoretical model with two heat-balance equations. The measured noise has been decomposed into several terms

The joint action of the matching to a common RC-load and thermal noise on the spectral properties of parallel Josephson junction array is studied. It is demonstrated that proper matching suppresses the chaotic dynamics of the system. The efficiency o
